Hello family and friends,
Over this past year, I’ve heard of too many tragic stories of loved ones being diagnosed with cancer, and some who lost their life as a result. I suspect each and every one of you could think of numerous individuals within your communities who have received the life changing news of a cancer diagnosis.
On May 4 & 5 I will be facing off against cancer as I play in the annual RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society) Hockey Classic for the 5th time, benefiting the families and patients of RCCS. As in previous years, we’ll be playing in honor of Dr. Mark Weiner z"l, the father of my close friend Zach Wiener. For those that have donated in past years, I am forever grateful for your support. The mission of RCCS is to tackle cancer challenges, ease medical treatment, cover insurance premiums to lighten the financial burden, and make cancer care more accessible. RCCS stands by each individual and their families throughout every step of the process, holding their hands along the way to help them fight and win the war against cancer.
Over the past year, RCCS has helped 5,718 patients worldwide and has facilitated $72 million in care.
