Hello Friends and Family-
As many of you know, I just spent a week in the hospital. Although it was not fun, the one thing that made my stay easier was the care given to me by the incredible nurses and doctors. I realize that is something that many of us take for granted: access to quality care when dealing with an illness or chronic condition.
One of the hardest things that I have had to deal with since being diagnosed with epilepsy is giving up playing hockey on a team. I am thrilled that I will have the opportunity to play in a charity tournament in a few months.
The RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society) tournament allows hockey players to unite for a common cause: fighting cancer. Their mission is to help families who are dealing with cancer challenges by easing the cost of medical treatment and making cancer care more accessible to those in need.
I am honored to be able to participate in this tournament again with my brother Justin and help raise money for this great cause, and be there for someone else. Please consider donating to RCCS. Your support means a lot to me because it allows me to do what I like most (play hockey) while doing something to help others. Remember, no donation is too small!
Thank you in advance,
Griffin Hoch
